Volunteer and Partnership Opportunities

For more information about any partnership or volunteer opportunities, reach out to Gordo Littlefield at gordo@cambridgecamping.org

Volunteer Photographer

Are you passionate about photography and love working with kids? We're looking for a volunteer to capture the unforgettable moments at our programs for a couple of hours on your timeline! Join us during the school year on Saturdays or over school vacation camps, or next summer to document daily activities and candid moments, and gain valuable experience in event photography and working with youth. Enjoy a fun and rewarding volunteer experience! If you're interested in capturing the essence of summer camp while helping our nonprofit build our database of photos for camper families, our new website, and marketing and fundraising materials, we want to hear from you!

Program Partner

Cambridge Camping is lucky to partner with incredible organizations to provide enriching and educational experiences to our campers. If you have a skill, career, hobby, or work for an organization you think our campers would love to learn about, reach out! Current program partners include Farrington Nature Linc, the Discovery Museum of Acton, Cambridge Community Television, Curious Creatures, Haley House’s Take Back the Kitchen, and many more.

Join Our Board of Directors

CCA often needs an extra set of hands for office work, help with fundraising and events, and for camp activities. CCA is recruiting Board members with all types of life and work experience, and deeply values a Board with diverse perspectives. Board experience is a fulfilling way to be involved in your community and make a difference.

Serve on a Board Committee

For those interested in Board experience, but without the capacity to fully commit to a role as a Board member, CCA offers the opportunity to serve on a Board committee where your skills can be most effective.

Corporate Partner

Plan a team outing or project with Cambridge Camping! Opportunities include helping to prepare for camp, hosting a fundraising or supplies drive, and planning an activity with campers on site. Corporate employees can also assist with HR, finance or strategic planning related projects.

Event Support

Volunteers play an important role in making CCA events a success! Opportunities for planning, set up and clean up, staffing, and selling tickets. CCA events are joyful, fun and campy, and proceeds directly support programming for the year.

Workplace Field Trip

CCA is always looking for engaging and educational field-trip opportunities. If you believe a visit to your workplace would be a valuable experience for our campers, please reach out! Past field trips have included fire-stations, universities, and scientific labs.

Community Service Hours

Designed for high school and college students that are looking for community service hours, we can offer one day or multi day opportunities in a variety of settings, both at the office and at camp.
