Up to 20 teens each summer participate in skill building, job readiness, and leadership training. Teens are placed at summer camps and participate in hands-on work with campers, counselors, and leadership staff as well as workforce development skills training in a classroom setting.  Enrollment in Cambridge Camping's CIT program is handled by the Mayor Youth Summer Employment Program (MYSEP) in the City of Cambridge.  Applications for the MYSEP program open in the spring each year.

 

Eligibility for programs

Cambridge Camping provides programs for children and families from under-resourced circumstances in Cambridge and surrounding communities.  Eligibility for enrollment in this program may be determined based on household size and income.  The online enrollment process will ask families to submit documentation to verify household income to be reviewed by Cambridge Camping staff.
